I usually love this product, but I’m going to pass this year due to the horrible insert designs and the lack of a standout theme, like movie autos.

Very happy to see the 1956 and 1965 designs finally get used.

Just gotta hope than the checklist is good and that none of my favorites get stuck with the hideous 2003 design.

And the 1969 Team History Image Variation cards look cool....

If the price is reasonable (i.e. $70-80 a hobby box), I'll be buying enough to build the set.

We can only hope for $70/box.

It usually stays at or above $100, unfortunately.

Pre-sale should be in the $129 area

yeah as much as I've been looking forward to it with the fugly 2003 design and stupid Aqua Sparkle Foil /75 if it's over $85-$90 it's an easy pass.

When I was in high school and college chasing autographs at the ballparks and spring training the 2003 set is the one I ended up choosing to be my default set to try and get as complete as I could. While it's never been very popular it's always meant a lot to me because of that. I wasn't planning on really going into Archives this year but might have to now. It will be fun to get today's current players on that design.

I quit collecting after 01 until late 2010 so not familiar really with 2003 topps. I like it, kinda modern take on the 83 design

Well, I’m going to have to buy that Pujols. 59 is my only vintage complete set

Not feeling it this year, unless some of those auto checklists are chalked full of old Mariners.

Am I the only one that likes the 2003 Topps design? I'm down for a collector's box if the price is reasonable. 10 packs is all I'd really want and the auto and lunch box sound great.

Given what is happening with Update (sell sheets listing 24 packs, but actual boxes having only 20 packs), you can no longer trust any pre-release format info.

I love the 1969 stuff, since that was the year I was born, so I'll be collecting the team postcards and individual 1969 cards, and the lunch boxes are very cool, but I won't be pre-ordering anything until I see it live.

Looks like initially pricing is up on BO. Collector's box with 1 auto is $70 (80 cards). Regular hobby box is $130 with 2 autos (192 cards).

Collectors boxes also have the 1969 Topps Team Poster "postcards" which will be popular items. Would be fun to speculate who will be on each team's postcard.

For my team (the Giants), I'd guess Mays, McCovey, Marichal, Will Clark, Lincecum, Posey, Cain (no Madbum, since he isn't appearing on Topps cards), Webb, Yaz, Crawford, and maybe one of the rookies.

Looks like a nice collector-friendly addition to Archives. It reminds me of 1998 UD Retro. Lunchboxes used to be a collectors item back in the 80s. It was before my time, but I remember seeing a lot of different kinds as a kid in the 90s.

They look cool but don't expect full sized lunch boxes. These will likely be mini sized probably around the same size as the retail tins they did a couple years back.

The lunch boxes look cool. Other than that, I personally wish they would dump this set since they have Heritage and have released Opening Day this year.

I wonder if Topps will cancel pre-orders for this one
