Serious question: Do you think these schools are funding their athletic departments (let alone their players' NIL deals) from their endowments?

Harvard's got a $50+ billion endowment. It's not going to the football team.

Those strategies, which got SMU the "death penalty" are all perfectly legal now. (ok ok I guess inducements are technically still forbidden but there's just no way to prosecute any school which does that)

I miss the days of recruiting from the prisons or Giving kids cars/Drugs/Women. This money thing is going to ruin recruiting and any integrity college football had. The overall product isn't good enough to overcome these things.

My favorite is Eric Dickerson who took the Trans Am from A&M, and then went to SMU.
