Default Brian Gray out at Leaf?

I just listened to the SCR guys and in their show last night they mentioned that Brian is no longer at Leaf. they insinuated they had some insider knowledge they could not release now. They also insinuated he had gone to Fanatics. Anyone hear anything about it?

It's from the latest Leaf scandal, the dude that played Jason Voorhes in the first Friday the 13th said the Pop Century auto's of him were fake and he posted an email from Leaf saying "Brian Gray no longer works here so contact so and so about the situation"

Strange, he was still buying early 1990s Pro Set FB cards from me on Sportlots, as late as last week.

Don’t you usually announce the successor, or at least give a time frame for announcing a successor?

He posted an update that they bought the autos from a vendor who forged them.

He’s not going to be involved with Leaf. I’ll believe it when I see it.

His post:

Dear Hobby,

For the last year, the Leaf team and I have been looking for the right time and for the right person who could step into the CEO role at Leaf and allow me to pass the baton after over 30 years of building hobby businesses including my most recent success, Leaf Trading Cards.

This has been a long race. For the first time within the past year, I am tired. I need to create margin in my life to focus on health, family and all the things I love about life that were relegated to the back burner over these 3 decades.

Fortunately, the perfect person has been found to take the reins that will allow me to transition from this role. Leaf will share details very soon on this hand-picked successor. I do want to recognize that the team we have built is exceptional, without which I would not have been able to make this difficult choice.

With that, today is my final day as Leaf's CEO. I thank you for your love and support as well as your passion for this hobby we all care about so much.

There are plenty of big things happening with Leaf and those will be shared in future. Until then can count on Leaf’s unrelenting efforts to bring you the most diverse, interesting and value driven releases in the market.

I love the hobby with all my heart, and I love you, my fellow collectors and friends.

Brian Gray

I always found it odd that Giannis’ razor autos were so much different than his Poopini autos
