Error card??

So i used to collect a lot when i was younger and i pulled this frank Thomas collectors choice silver sig card from a pack. I didn't notice til recently... but its the only silver sig with a black background i can find. It seems the normal card should be black, silver for silver, gold for gold.

Anyone else ever seen this? Known error?

I attached a photo of mine, and the normal silver for comparison.

Looks that way - see https://www.tcdb.com/Errors.cfm/sid/...lver-Signature for instance. TCDB hasn't catalogued that particular Thomas variation but I imagine that whole Up Close & Personal subset was impacted?

Interesting... didnt know there we so many errors in that series. Now to see what the value might be.
