Hello everyone,

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Rob and I'm primarily a vintage baseball collector (some ultramodern, Ohtani & Devers) with a Red Sox focus (Ted Williams & Yaz, of course, but also Carlton Fisk and Dwight Evans).

I've been a longtime lurker, in the sense that I often Googled "card issue + Blowoutforums" knowing I'd get an answer from the knowledgeable folks in this forum.

Favorite sets? Always difficult to narrow that down, but I'd say 1949 Bowman, '54 Topps, '60 Topps and '75 Topps. Plus, a special love for Hostess and Kellogg's, being a 1970s kid.

I primarily collect graded cards, but would like to get more comfortable buying raw.

Bottom line, here to learn, listen, share, and I'd love to make some card friends. I often hear the hobby is really about the people. I'd like to explore that by connecting more.
