Had a couple cards damaged in a box of Hoops, one of them being a Jeremy Sochan autograph. Normally I'd just throw the damaged cards away but since this was an auto, and I live in SA, figured I'd send in for replacement.
So 4 months have passed and nothing, so I called Panini CS just now. Only took about 3 mins to have someone pick up. When I gave him the ticket number he said that they've gotten everything they needed to replace the damaged card, BUT they're currently working on 2021 factory damage replacements and could be a while until it gets replaced. So I'm thinking if they're still working on 2021 damages, it'll be another year or two to get to 2023 products....lol. Thank goodness this wasn't a high dollar card. |

Panini customer service is an oxymoron.

Currently working on 2021s lol. The moment they started catering to whiners that don’t pull gem mint cards out of their packs was the moment their customer service got worse. Panini's customer service was awesome the first few years.

I don't grade cards, but when there is a giant crease through the entire card and was a card I wanted I figured I'd send in.

I'm extremely surprised you got anyone at Panini to answer the phone. That part alone is a miracle.

I got a message saying the ticket was closed on the 20th of Feb 2023.
I checked tracking for the last 4 months and nothing. Open up my ShipMyCards account one day last week and see the card has been delivered. It looks to have the scratches i had when I sent it, and I am not shipping home to inspect for a while. It was a $20 card that i sent during the boom and should have just chalked down as a loss. |

Yeah, I probably should’ve done that too, but sent it in because it was a 1 of 1 and the only card in the box with that sort of damage. But now it’s just been MIA for two years.

Got a response from Panini support today on my two year old ticket with zero actual update. The most laughable part is that they blamed their inability to handle a ticket from July 2021 in the past two years on the pandemic. How long does Panini think they can continue to use COVID as an excuse for their shitty operations and customer service?

I called in a few weeks ago about this as well, but was told that for basketball in particular, they were backlogged with factory damaged tickets from as far back as 2019, not 2021, so might end up being an even longer wait in this case.

Yeah I think way to many people during covid if they opened a pack and it was not going to grade a 9 or 10 they sent it it demanding it be replaced so they could grade it and try to flip it. Panini needs to just start sending some of the cards that are not that bad back saying they are not replacing it as they will not guarantee cards come out perfect.

In a shocking development, I got an update from Panini that my replacement David Robinson 1/1 auto is shipping out today. |
