Watched Colt Keith’s 6-hit/2-HR/7-RBI cycle last Tuesday. Erie put up 17 runs though so he didn’t even stand out. Didn’t even realize he hit for the cycle until today. Although his one HR left the stadium entirely so I did remember that one.

Ryan Clifford hit .435/.440/.913 for a 1.353 OPS with 3 bombs in High A this past week.

Surprised to not see him make the sheet, so I will get my pump in here. Only a few months older than Holliday, dude can rake

Luis Matos went 9 for 22 (.409 avg with 1.117 ops), with 2 doubles and 2 triples, an outfield assist and several amazing catches in his first week since getting called up to AAA Sacramento. He’s been fantastic this year so far.

Looks like there is a very good chance Holiday will be the #1 guy by season end.
