Surprised there hasn't been a thread created yet on this once in a lifetime generational talent. I guess we shall find out soon!!! Very exciting indeed! He could be the tide that can lift all ships I'm the hobby especially now that we know he will be drafted by the San Antonio Spurs! With Pop coaching, this kid will be well prepared for the NBA! I'm actually happy for him with his new the the Spurs!
Anyways this thread is obviously about Victor to talk about. Let's hear your voices 😆. |

Nobody worried that being that tall is a big risk? Players over say 7'2 have a bad track record. Not saying you don't take him. Just don't be surprised if he gets injuries.

Funny how all the pundits are saying he's the biggest can't miss since LeBron, as if they weren't all salivating over Zion a few years ago.
Good luck to those who spend big money on him. His frame gives me nightmares as it stands for now. |

I remembering thinking the same thing about Kevin Durant and was pretty wrong. You never know. As a Houston fan it stinks not getting good top picks in back to back years.

Wemby is going to be a MASSIVE bust.
I'm not sure if it'll be due to under-performance or injury, but I'd bet the bank on him being a massive bust. Be careful with your money, folks. |

I'm looking at recent completed auctions on ebay and some guy is making a GD killing selling hundreds of homemade cards that look like Panini and UD designs...
Also, holy hell, the $$ being spent on his SI Kids cards... |

Retail boxes will be flying off Target/Walmart shelves. His build reminds of the infamous Maverick: 7'6" Shawn Bradley...

Let's do a signature bet on that then. If you're willing to bet the bank, surely you'd do your blowout sig.
