2023 Bowman Sapphire Baseball Odds--PR Down?

Odds posted for 23 Bowman Sapphire. At least we know what parallels are listed.

If these odds hold up, the production has gone down by half. Packs odds for pads are 1:526 or 1 per 66 boxes. For 2022 the odds for pads was 1:1,064 or 1 per 133 boxes.

About 10,000 boxes total.

Also, based on odds looks like about 28 auto subjects.

Pads odds are 1:2830

1:526 is the RED odds.

Those are the odds for the autos not the base card parallels.

Your right about the autos.

Are Pads not uniform in distribution? I think i recall that if they had did not have a Super in another set they got a PADS in this one? I honestly cant recall how that worked, How does the other parallels differ from last years ?

No superfractors in this product since the subjects have those in Bowman proper. TC and TCU Sapphire has a mixture of supers and pads.

If those odds are right, that's about 3 colors and 1 auto per box.

The last Bowman Sapphire was $180. We thinking it could repeat here? Also, are Mega Boxes the better bet for autos and color over Sapphire?

2022 Draft and Chrome were $180 but didn't have autos. 2022 Bowman Baseball Sapphire had autos and was $199, so I'd imagine that's the floor.

Mega boxes are printed to the moon.

That's what I was concerned about. The print run. Even though you get more for your money, Sapphire will have the value it would seem. Are the 40 base cards in this release chrome cards or are they paper base from 23 Bowman Baseball? We know the other 10 are the chrome Mojos of the 50 vets/RC's and the 50 Prospects.

Usually paper base/chrome with no parallels.

Got it. So the 4 base packs (40 cards) are a mix of chrome and paper. Because the Mega release is heavily printed, Sapphire seems to be the way to go. Especially for value.

They dumped twice the previous content into one box.

So watch them double the price accordingly. Can't call it a no brainer if it releases at 300+ a box.

300 seems like a no brainer even still, no? Last years are going 375-400 with 1 hit and 1 auto per, double the hits and half the production this year
