Default GAS Trading Cards - Arnold Set

https://www.beckett.com/news/2023-ga...trading-cards/

Anyone else catch these and buy in? I did and can't wait to get them. Seems like a pretty small print run and high quality. I hope for more good things to come out of this company.

A 2 card set is an odd choice. Never heard of these or GAS.

Edit: Googled their website. I'm interested in their Sublime set, but I don't see autograph odds posted.

https://gastradingcards.com/products...-3-base-bundle

$75 for 1 trading card for the Snoop Dogg/Dr. Dre set with no chance of an auto:

https://gastradingcards.com/products...rd-tin-box-set

I don't see any card in this set being worth $75 other than the 1/1 maybe.

I bought a couple of sets looking for an auto. According to gas trading cards this is Arnold Schwarzenegger's first bodybuilding card and first standard size auto card. The 1997 Mr. Freeze auto is an oversized card.

They are right about the body building card, but they were incorrect about the first standard size auto card. They said during the live intro of this set on Network that the 1997 Batman Mr. Freeze auto was the last one he has but that's incorrect. There is an on-card 2003 Comic Images Terminator 3 Auto of Arnold too.

I see ok. First bodybuilding card and with autos. Most people consider him the GOAT of bodybuilding. Crazy to think it took this long to come out with a bodybuilding card.

It's not that crazy. Would there be a market for bodybuilding cards? Arnold is the exception.

An Arnold-Lou dual auto would be awesome.

Lou was the Hulk and Hercules -- Arnold was Conan and the Terminator.

Big, strong, buff, intimidating dudes.

Someone got ahold of a regular $50 base set and sold it on ebay already. Not sure how they got it already, these aren't shipping for weeks yet maybe from a local card show that GAS attended?

Final price at auction? $332

I don't think Lou Ferrigno is a household name. I only know who he is because he attends comic cons.

I would have loved to see an Arnold/Franco Columbu dual-auto card. They were life long best friends. Their story together is awesome.

Too bad it's Arnold in his underpants instead of as Terminator, LOL.
