I hope for his sake this doesn't age well, but why in the world would they choose Buxton for this? They've had some unexpected parallels in the past, so maybe they can have a special shattered glass parallel for anybody that puts his code in before the season starts.

No kidding. Added Buxton, but let Machado and Wander roll off?!

Juanny - I love you.

Can you tell if the game has any new wrinkles this season, or does it seem to be essentially the same game as last season?

dale! you're still alive!

I'm still trying to find a reason to play this game again... my only interest is in rarities, though, so it's not a great match.

Very true, print runs on the winners have skyrocketed since the first year, which eventually led to the Double Down winners.

Wouldn't be surprised if these are sneaky expensive 10-20 years from now.

Been busy this last month and away from the house but had time this weekend to go through my (HUGE) pile of HRC mail. Posting my annual flex photo!

Im noticing fairly obviously impressions so far. There seems to be less cards available of a few players, specifically Ohtani, Judge and Trout. Even compared to Julio Rodriguez who is seems just as popular and similarly priced, you are seeing much more Julio cards for sale than these mentioned players. Maybe something to consider when looking at the winning print runs? None the less there's still tons of HRC cards out there- glad we have that double down option again.

HRC is one of my favorite things. Got an Adley today and on opening day. Have hit Adley, Bobby, and Trout so far. Have a ton more left to go…

Busy start this year with 3 full weeks remaining in April! Last year for the entire first month we only had 14 Double Down HRs and this year were already up to 12 with most of April left to go.

I'm 1 for 4 on HRCs codes that I entered so far.
I was one day off from a Lindor HR but did hit a Jazz Chisholm which was pretty lucky since he only has 2 homers on the year so far!

I know that the Double Down option states,....." home run over 425 feet." Do we know if Topps award the winner card(s) for respective players who hit HR's, exactly 425 feet...?!!? Kris Bryant hit one on April18th that traveled,...you guessed it; an estimated 425, on-the-button!! Naturally,...playing in the thin air and having had hit his 1st HR as a Rockie on the 17th, I said, "what the heck".

If they don't award for the DD @ 425 ft, as a consolation prize of sorts, at least I can say that I hit a Chisholm on the 18th, too.

I can confirm that last year a HR needed to be over 425ft, so one that only traveled 425 wouldn't be a double down winner if rules stay the same.

FYI to all- exactly 1 week left in April. Everyone is on the board except Harper who wont play this month.

I double downed on Soto last night and it looks like I got lucky on that one as his homer went 448 feet per ESPN. Kinda neat!!!

April Results:
Lots of HRs. Everyone had at least 2 winning days (besides Harper). Half the checklist went Double Down. Its here we'll hopefully see some lower print runs. We didn't get these 1st month winners shipped until nearly June last year, so there's some waiting to do.
