Default Blocker eBayer insanecards4u

Using “item not described” for a card that has dropped 50% value in a week so he can screw me over with his buyers remorse.

Nevermind thought you said he waited a week to file

How did this happen? I was of the understanding that trading cards have a 3 day window for returns. Were you offering returns?

I read it he fied within 3 days of receipt, from purchase date to time he filed was a week.

Also if seller takes returns the 3 day rule does not apply

The negative feedback left says it’s damaged. If that is the auction…. It closed on 1/21 and a claim was filed no later than today….1/27. Looks like the seller shipped fast, USPS delivered it fast too. The bidding ended 5 days and 21hrs ago as of this post.

Then odds are he us within the 3 days filing time then. It's date received not sold.

How do we know the card was not actually damaged in shipping. It can happen no matter how it was shipped

Based on the feedback I am betting there is another very different side here. If that's the item in question

There are a lot of that same card for sale at $60-$70. What’s odd is a few were listed before the buyer placed his bid. I didn’t look at condition…. Maybe this one had perfect centering and no print defects etc and it really did arrive damaged. Kinda hard not to give a guy the benefit of the doubt. Will be interested to see how the card looks when it’s returned.

Feedback says returned was denied. Not sure how that would even be possible unless the buyer did not actually claim damage on return request

The price also does perplex me. It's higher then a many were selling for at that time

So hard to say either way. Kinda goes back to my thoughts on cancel culture and social media

Item ended at 9a PST on Saturday; which gives OP plenty of time to ship (Our PO closes at 330, last pickup I think at 4 - most close around noon with last pickup around 2/3 on Saturdays)

OP ships priority, depending on where buyer is in proximity, it would more than likely be delivered on Monday (I think only 1 zone takes longer than 2 days from me)

Buyer waits and opens a case yesterday, which would be (just) past the 3 day mark, allowing OP to decline

What confuses me is the ability to leave FB for this situation, typically buyers are unable to on a declined return -- I would be clicking around Seller Help to figure out how to take it off

That's true but as you said he should not have been allowed to leave feedback. Lots of questions here

Yep - I have a feeling something may be missing BUT I experienced some eBay system issues yesterday (which caused a headache this am) and am wondering if something similar happened here
