It's slimier (I'm sure they also mocked up memorial designs in case he didn't make it), but the $99 price is somewhat less cartoonishly evil than the sellers who went straight to $4k+ while Hamlin was still receiving CPR.

Not thrilled with either party in this moral question.

For whatever it's worth, per Leaf on the tweet announcing these, they aren't old stickers as they didn't have a contract with him until after he recovered. So it would seem at least that Damar is entirely onboard with these.

Seeing as how Hamlin's career is likely over (I think?), I don't blame him for getting a check and securing a donation to his charity.

In general I don't have a problem with companies providing avenues for good people to fundraise for good causes, but this one just feels a bit too much like Brian Gray cash-grab. I rank it up there with all the "breast cancer" charities making huge profits. Good cause, bad execution, worse people behind the scenes.

I have no problem with this as long as it receives Demar's full backing and support. Not sure why he would stoop to leaf levels but if it puts more eyeballs on his faith and a portion of the sales proceeds goes towards his charity it doesn't seem like a bad move on his part. Why not try to capitalize on it.

Brian Gray might be slimy to some but he's certainly not as slimy as those who were listing $5k Hamlin RPAs on eBay at the very moment he was receiving mouth to mouth.

Brian Gray once said he would never feature an OJ Simpson autograph in his products unless he could guarantee all of the proceeds would go to the Brown/Goldman families. OJ is now widely included in Pro Set/Leaf things, but Brian sure has been quiet about the funds going to the families when asked about it.

With Giannis and currently Ronaldinho, suing Leaf for alleged image and licensing concerns, it would be really interesting to hear from Damar, on this release.
