Yeah wow, two of the biggest cards already pulled with the Caufield and Seider 1/1s. Super cool looking cards

I pulled a red JVR PMG 91/100. After seeing the Seider, I’m even less excited about it.

Given ANY PMG is about 1 in 4 boxes, I think a green rookie of one of the top 5-6 guys in 7 boxes is doing fine! Congrats!!

I haven’t opened any but mctavish retro green in 7 boxes, there are people who will rip 7 cases and not hit something like that , and that’s not a comment on whether or not this is a good rip

And I didn’t expect to see Seider and McDavid 1/1s casually shown off , thought I was gonna see a bunch of star normal pmgs or something , which I’d be more than happy with to pull

And finally , so veteran retro pmgs weren’t made ? I actually kind of love that , doesn’t water down last years , although it does mean less to pull in this years

I agree about the water down factor. It means as the rookies from last year break out their PMG’s will be more valuable, not having a 2nd year version.

So question for the math guys, if 16 boxes in a case and a Metal X card (thickem SSP) is a case hit.

Do we know how many cases there are and how many players so we can get a print run idea on the Metal X ?

I only ask because gosh, not many Metal X cards out there yet.

I am going to +1 this math request. Also has anyone had one of these in-hand? Photos never do cards justice. Just curious what your impressions were.

Well, I do, thats my pic. I swore I wasnt going to buy a box and I didnt, walked into LCS, bought a couple packs and hit that McTavish Metal X. Card is very nice in hand. I used a 130 pt and seems to be a little room but smallest I could go.

I’ve heard they’re heavy, as if some component of them are actual metal. Can you confirm or is it normal weight for a thicker card?
