So....I know that if the AFC Championship Game is Bills-Chiefs, it will be at a neutral site.

But what about a potential Bills-Bengals Divisional Round game? Is that in Buffalo, or also at a neutral site? Because if the Bengals had won the cancelled game, they would have become the #2 seed based on the head-to-head win.

Buffalo would host.

That's what i thought....but has the NFL given any explanation why?

Logic says that if a Bills/Chiefs conference title game is going be at a neutral site because the Bills lost a chance to pass the Chiefs for the #1 seed, then a Bills-Bengals divisional round matchup should also be at a neutral site because the Bengals lost a chance to pass the Bills for the #2 seed.

Because the Bills and Bengals have played the same number of games and the Bills have the better record. The neutral site caveat was only for the teams that hadn't played the same number of games (but could have the same record if they did).

The NFL gift wrapped the AFC North for the Bengals but did them pretty dirty by determining the venue of their game against Baltimore by a coin flip. They may play zero games at home in the first two rounds even though they won their division.

The Bengals/Ravens playoff game is in Cincy. It was only going to a coin toss if the Ravens won today.

Don't think that's the case since the Bengals won today, no?

The coin flip was only if the Bengals lost today. Since they won, they are hosting next week.

My mistake fellas, clownshow NFL solution averted then. I kind of stopped caring what happened to that game once KC won yesterday.

Got it....that actually makes a reasonable amount of sense even though the Bengals get screwed.

Bills also “get screwed” they could have won and had a first round bye and home field throughout. We will never know. League was trying to minimize the screw jobs as best they could.

But the Bills will not have to play in Kansas City if they meet.

Whereas the Bengals will have to play in Buffalo.....

i won't make all my picks yet, but i'll just say this:

the Bengals are going to run the table again. they'll beat the Ravens, with or without Lamar, and then they'll go to Buffalo, and beat them too.

they would have won last Monday night, or Thursday, or whatever, but the NFL blew it, and now instead of Cincy hosting two home playoff games, including a possible home game against Buffalo, they'll go on the road.

also, i'm curious to see if we're going to see Tua in the playoffs or if it's going to be Skylar Thompson again. Miami matches up really well with Buffalo, and honestly, should have won that second game, but it is what it is.

if Tua plays, upset alert, honestly. if he's out, Buffalo wrecks them.

I picked Dolphins over the Bills ONLY if Tua plays. They beat them in Miami and they played them tough in Buffalo a month ago. If S. Thompson plays, I just don't see them winning. But stranger things have happened.

Tua shouldn't play again, let alone weeks after having a third concussion in three months.

Cowboys and Chargers are favorites so if they win, it's not an upset.

I’m pretty sure fans in Florida would still be upset.

The only real gift wrapping was for the Chiefs.

Wild Card Weekend is going to be wild with all the random Vikings fans who invade the brewery next door.

This was the scene yesterday of some Vikes waiting in line to get in:
