I'll go out on a limb and say Molina, Mauer and Posey.

Give the catchers some love!

If you're saying Goldschmidt is a lock Votto has to be a lock too

Yeah, Harper and Posey are locks. I think Yadi has a strong case, and honestly, I even think Salvador Perez will get in via the veterans one day. I’ve never understood the Joey Votto love, but people seem to like him…

Votto has a career ops+ of 145 & 65 WAR - throw in a gold glove & MVP

You’re solidly standing on a stump with those. Except, you listed them in reverse order.

And 33rd best OBP all time and 48th best OPS all time

What if I told you he has a higher career OPS than Pujols and Miggy

…I guess. I’ve never been a fan though. I feel like he’s been a general disappointment for a while now. Those numbers have been very quiet. Super quiet. I guess it’s just because he hasn’t been fantasy relevant in a very long time.

Not to go off on a tangent, but what if I told you Carlos Delgado has an even higher OPS?

Believe it or not I actually just watched a YouTube video about Delgado last night that talked about this same thing.

If I had to bet I’d say that he gets the Crime Dog treatment and eventually gets into the HOF

I sure hope so. He was too good to be left out.

He had a pretty good 2021.
.938 ops and 139 ops+
Don’t forget he’s almost 40. His peak was a decade ago.

Betts isn’t even close to being considered for the HOF, I’d be willing to put money that he ends up with a Bernie Williams, Steve Finley, Andrew McCutchen type career.

Is this a real post or are you just messing around?

Hard disagree. But it’s all good. It’s the unknown that makes these things fun.

I think Ichiro becomes the second unanimous selection in history TBH

Nope, go look at his career, only hit .300 twice, a declining on base percentage for the last 4 years, doesn’t run much anymore, has only 1,300 hits at age 30. He’s a .271 hitter in the NL.
