Get rid of divisions already!

Especially with, but even before next years schedules came out, where every team plays every team, divisions were pointless. Because of them they will screw over some better teams and introduce God-awful teams into the playoffs, for example any team from the AL central. This should be the next revision to make baseball better.

Crying about the AL Central again... please just stop... Even with no divisions some teams will get left out and where you say the AL central is bad now it will be another division later... Then we will have playoffs of the same ole teams and then people will complain about that..

Right now, the 6 playoff teams in the AL are:

Astros
Yankees
Guardians
Blue Jays
Rays
Mariners

If they did away with divisions and just gave the playoff spots to the 6 best teams, the playoff teams would be:

Astros
Yankees
Guardians
Blue Jays
Rays
Mariners

This is a travesty and must be changed immediately!!!

With the expanded playoff, it is actually way less likely a bad team is making the playoff. I have to go back to 2012 to find a division champion taking away a playoff spot and they were only 2 games worse than the best team not making the playoff.

Not all wins are created equal. Winning o0 games is a heck of a lot harder than winning 90 in the central of both American and national leagues. There is one decent team in the AL central, the Indians, but their record is influenced by the rest of their division being completely awful.
