![]() This might be half what I got. I can’t keep storing them. Sell on eBay? Sell on the boards? Donate to a Children's hospital? Am I supposed to sort them so there all one sport one year. Or better to leave them chaotic? |

Are there cards in there, or just the boxes?

Mostly 2001- mostly baseball
I sold two or three 4000 boxes of autos and game used to steel city like 5 years ago. And I sell the best cards to feed my habit. So mostly base inserts and rookies. A few boxes are all benchwarmer cards and other non sports |

$300 is way, way, way too much, at least for boxes that have this stuff you pulled out in it.

I believe there is a USPS priority flat rate you gotta order online that’s about $22. I know the clerk at the counter would kill you at the counter.

Why not just go through them and sort them. For $200-$300 per box, no one in their right mind will buy then. Do team lots, inserts lot, rookie lots, player lots, etc. People want to know what they're getting instead of buying blind and getting $20 bucks in value.

What's your location? You might find a bulk buyer willing to take a chance knowing it's somewhat sifted through. If that doesn't work, next best bet is calling up LCSs and seeing what they offer. Where it's all 2001-present you could get a reasonable offer per box and they'll haul it away for you. Don't expect 100+ but even at 25 per (I counted 145) you could be looking at a ~3k offer.
Take that FWIW: an internet opinion. |

Or a 4000 count all bowman on the baseball. Would $200 be still to much for 4000 base and inserts? Obo |

Toss a card that goes for $100 in each box and they might sell off speculation.

Yes $200 is way to high. No one wants to pay that much for base cards unless you have some decent stuff in that case, I'd just sort them and sell them as a lot. Example: 2001 to 2020 bowman inserts, 1st paper, 1st chrome rookies, etc might get a bite.

Shipping prices is why dumping junk for any amount of money is tough to do.
$200-300 per box is nuts. You might be lucky to get $20-30 plus shipping per box unless you are hiding stuff that's more valuable. If you want to spend A LOT of time sorting, you might be able to get more with specialized listings, but if you want to dump them mostly sight unseen, you are going to get garage sale level offers.

OMG!!! You have taken the first step in admitting you have a hoarding problem!
You have shown a lot of your case breaks over the years and I now see what becomes of all those base cards! If you have kids you should pay them an allowance to sort all that into sets or team lots. Otherwise I would consider selling locally to have someone take some of that off your hands, otherwise shipping costs will kill any kind of profit for you. |
