Default National parking options

I have never been to the National in Atlantic City. I'm curious as to what the parking options are. No, I do not have a parking pass and am not looking to buy one. I assume there is a parking garage at the Convention Center. How much is it to park there for general admission per day? Are there other locations outside of the convention center where one might park for free? Looking at Googe Maps, I see Bass Pro Shops and other places with parking lots that shouldn't be an issue parking in but do not see many large lots. Just looking for what the average person does.

When entering the BPS lot, you have to take a parking ticket. Bass only allows customers one hour to park in their lot. If you park longer, you will be fined. The lot is heavily monitored.

I wonder if there are so many of these VIP parking passes taken that the regular $20 parking lot will be full no matter how early I get there. But yeah there are a bunch of options. Hell if you don't mind walking you could probably just stay at the hotel lot

Its my understanding that the vip lot is the wave parking lot next to the convention center, not the actual garage. I went back in 2016 and didnt have any issues parking in the garage and I wasn't early either. Showed up about 30 minutes after it opened each day. I am planning to attend all 5 days this year and just park in the garage.

There is a parking garage below the convention center. It has 1,000 parking spaces for use by both attendees & exhibitors and charges $20 per day (https://meetac.com/meet/transportation-parking). Being that there are 1,000 Super VIP passes, they couldn't use that for VIP parking, hence why those passes are in the Wave Garage a block or two away.

According to the Collector's Digest article about ticket sales this year, over half of the sales so far are for daily passes. So yes, you can park in the garage below the center itself (I did too in 2016), but expect more guests than 6 years ago and if the lot is full you will have to park a few blocks away in one of the other area lots.

Pro tip for AC casino garages: get a receipt from the first garage you use and you will get free parking at all other casino garages for the day.
