Default 2021 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection

Now available on epack. Anyone buying? Some bigs cards on the checklist but overall a seemingly tough rip at 4 cards per pack ($274.99). Thoughts?

If I had the cash I might be stupid enough to bust a pack or two.

I busted one of those spgu golf packs and that’s a quick cure for affluence

I won't be touching this at all at that crazy $$$ amount.

Looks like the Lafreniere 1/1 Auto Shield got hit earlier today. No idea if anything else huge got hit as well.

I've stopped buying cards on epack because the quality is so bad. I want to buy a case of series 1 but what is the point when most of the young guns and any inserts I get have 50/50 chance of being damaged.

Upper Deck needs to turn down the presses and pricing and turn up the quality.

It’s historically the worst product I’ve ever opened. SPGU isn’t much better.

That's a shame about the price. Ultimate has some of the best looking cards.

I'm waiting to buy some at 200CAD per pack during the black friday sale. Some great cards in that product.

I only opened one on non-epack .. liked Stature much much better for the money. Esp. now that Stature is pretty easy to find ~ $175 and sometimes less

I bought one on epack because I was bored and had the itch. I’m normally a baseball and basketball card guy so I’d appreciate if someone can help me nail down a value on this. Hasek Gold auto /15. I saw the base auto sold for $238 but I can’t find the gold. Any help? Thanks!

Cool kirill

Separate topic, what are scrub ultimate cards worth on the epack platform ? People will offer me a few for like a knight young gun or something and I’ll have no idea if the subject points make it worth it . I’m not collecting the subject points myself , but would always be interested in value obviously , Thanks for any help

will vary from player to player. check the leader boards and see how bad the person wanting the card needs it to either move up, or stay ahead of the person below them in the point race.

The big hits make ultimate e-packs tempting, but glad I have learned to buy the cards I want instead of gambling. The Gretzky is fire!

Did not start out great on ePack...

After release I decided to bust 4 boxes. My big hit in 2 of the boxes were RPA's of Nicolas Beaudin and Tyler Benson. The other 2 box hits were:

Let that awful taste fester for a couple of days and decided to try another box... which yielded this:

Happy to have finally gotten a decently big card, I decided to try another box the next day, which landed me this:

Ok, 2 decent boxes in a row. 2 days goes by, and I'm happy to have gotten a couple nice cards, but what does a guy have to do to hit a top tier rookie card??? Okay, fine, why not... might as well try one more! Glad I did...

And that's where my little ePack Ultimate experiment has ended up to this point. I know me well enough to know I'll probably end up opening some more at some point, but time to pump the breaks on the spending!

I did trade away the Kopitar for a nice little haul last night. I'm not going to dump the 5 figures required to remotely compete for the Quest achievements... so I made what I felt was a fair trade for some stuff I'd rather have.

Nice product over all... but definitely one of the bigger gambles I've come across on ePack. As another poster mentioned above the SPGU Golf... I did one pack then, still kicking myself for that mistake to this day!!

All one pack products are gambles, but you finally hit your guy. I went the grab the card route. Lol.

Got 4 total. Byram patch auto # to 49 and a lafreniere auto were my 2 hits on the first 3. Got this on the last pack. No idea what it might be priced at, but it's my first non sketch 1/1!
