I'm on a mission to get the rest of the rookies I need for my HOF rookie collection (MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL) that are from 1985 (my birth year) to present. I need:

My main goals for this year's National are:

1. Upgrade my Emil Batch, for my Rochester team set, in an SGC holder.



2. Trade up into a PSA 9 Jerry Rice RC, I currently have an 8.



3. Grab any low numbered Luke Harper/Brodie Lee that I don't have.

My main objective is to just have a good time. I'm going with my wife and two friends. Want to enjoy the show and AC.

For cards, I'm really only going after 3 big PC cards and my hope is that I will be able to trade + cash my way into them. Otherwise, I'll probably only have enough cash for 1-2.

1. Ronald Acuna Topps Chrome/Bowman Chrome Rookie Refractor Auto /499 - Prefer graded. The compnay or grade isn't particularly important.

2. Hank Aaron 1955 PSA/SGC 2-3

3. Juan Soto 2018 update SP or parallel. Just want to add a nice Soto card to my collection. Much like the Ronald, I'd prefer it to be graded but the actual grade or grading company isn't very important as I'm not looking to re-sell it.

If anybody sees any Billy O'Dell low to mid grade PSA Cards keep me in mind. "Uncle" Billy as we called him taught me how to pitch as a kid and I'm slowly working on getting all of his cards in PSA grades

I have to admit I never heard of him until now but that's awesome.

Looks like he completed AND finished 12 games each in 1958. Can't be many, if any, who have done that in a year.

He was a great guy. He never asked for a dime from anybody he gave lessons to. We went to the same church, and after church my dad would take me to his house for lessons. The best part for me was sitting in his house listening to stories and looking at memorabilia. As a young kid, I was maybe 8, hearing about pitching to Mantle and Maris in the World Series, pitching in All Star games, it was amazing.

3. Autographs -- Ewing, Eli, Matsui, and/or Lundqvist; only after select cards, would be happy to add just one from here as I feel these will be overpriced at the show.

I have limited time this year, won't have the luxury of digging through boxes. Focusing on the vintage dealers and quickly scanning display cases for modern needs.

Pretty much the same thing I was looking for at CSA shows: wrestling cards (more base than inserts) and West Virginia Mountaineers for my PC collection. Also maybe pick up some programs if people are selling those. I will love to find some 1980's WVU bowl programs.

Hopefully people put up their 2021-22 basketball more at the National.

Always on the lookout for hall of fame rookies that I think are good deals.

I would love the Mickey Mantle Griffey Jr dual auto but I believe it is out of budget. (should've bought it years ago for 950 when I had the chance)
