Why Ebay Sellers drink...

I was listing a PSA 9 2019 Acuna Batting #117 rookie cup card.

Copy and paste alot of old listings just to speed process.

7 day .99 cent auction

Buyer messages me... "Yeah... um this is not a refractor"

Ok, so I missed the obvious.

Apologized and refunded

$6

Got a care package I am making to send to a young collector. He will get a cool card later this month.

I made a boo boo on the listing.

Buyer bought the card for $6 and then complained it wasn't a refractor as listed.

Gonna send it to a kid who will appreciate the card.

You were too lazy to list something the correct way and are now upset that the buyer does not appreciate the card that he did not order?

Before injuring my back, I would hunt the local beaches pretty hard.

In the surf and on land.

Had to learn to cherrypick and get kinda technical as you learned sand movements. Otherwise you beat your brains out.

The best I knew picked up about 120 rings over a year.

I found about a dozen rings a couple summers ago. About enough to pay for the accessories.

Minelab Excalibur rules the surf and the 3030 rules the beach. New they cost $1500 and up.

The Equinox is a nice all around choice at $600.

My back doesn't hold up anymore but it was great fun.

I was selling a Bowman auto on eBay the other night- I specifically called out on the description that there were print/roller lines that were hard to see unless viewed on angle. Went back and forth on a Best Offer, which the guy accepted and paid for- then afterwards he asks me if the card is in good condition. Long story short, I canceled the order just before shipping it out because I didn’t want to deal with a likely return. Apparently I’m in the minority of people who read the description before buying a $600 card?

Think I’ll just get it graded and hopefully avoid any issues selling the card later

Reminds me of the thread I posted when I misplaced a couple raw Purple Fernado Tatis 2017 Bowman Draft refractors.

I was literally walking out the door for a flight, couldn't find them, and just refunded the buyer rather than delay and screw up my Ebay metrics.

I would have mailed them at no cost on return, but he went CRAZY and was just rude over a couple of $20 cards.

Got crushed on BO for good measure...

Sold them as PSA 10's about a year or so later after his blowup for 20X
