Default 2022 All-Star Fanfest

I have been to the All-Star Fanfest twice before, once in Anaheim and once in San Diego. This year the All-Star Game is being held at Dodger Stadium but for the life of me I cannot find out anything about where the All-Star fanfest festivities will be held. Does anyone know, usually lots of fun stuff for the kids and usually some cards and memorabilia as well.

It’s at the Convention Center in Downtown LA and called the Play Ball Park. Scant details so far.

It was free in 2021, but you needed to claim a ticket online. In 2019 and before, a paid ticket was required that was ~$20, but I recall generally being able to find them for <$10.

Info is out and tickets are now available. If you have a Capital One card, you can nab 2 free tickets while supplies last.

Is it difficult to schedule autograph sessions? As in, will I need to show up early, get in as soon as it opens, and go to a kiosk immediately to reserve an auto session?

When the Dodgers still put out players and legends for autos for free in public places, it was nuts. I went to a Orel Hershiser/Justin Turner signing at Topanga mall in 2013 or 2014, got there an hour and a half early, and there were already over 100 people in line. Just absolutely nuts. One guy had been there since midnight which….just meh.

All scheduling is on line via the Ballpark app. You will need to make an account with the home team also. Then you need to jump on as soon as the virtual tickets come on line to select your guy. It is a one per day limit but you can queue up in the line without tickets for when the ticket holders finish.

Convention center area is pretty safe. I lived there from 2010-2013 and have worked downtown since 2020. It’s as bad right now as it was around 2000-2005.

At least that's how 2021 Rockies All Star Fan Fest was. Just have everything prepared. Tickets go fast. Also may have certain people go for certain stars etc.

Some will only sign one item per. Some will sign more. Just prep a clipboard with multiple cards etc and see what they sign. Some gatekeepers will actual do their job and limit you to one. See+avoid.

Today is the last day to get $10 tickets, but I suspect other deals will spring up.

I tried this but the coupon is only good for 1 ticket, all other tickets are regular price at $35. If I want my family of 4 to go then they have a deal for a family of four for $110.

Thank you for the info though

Default 2022 All-Star Fanfest

Pretty standard LA stuff. I need a couple Valenzuela items signed and would like Vlad Sr. I don’t have anything signed by Reggie Smith so that would be nice too.

Starting to show signs of life. Here's the first list of signers at PBP.

Anyone sign up to be part of the Experience Team, the paid program replacing the ASG Ambassadors/Volunteers?

Same signers as the past 20 all star games, Rollie and Jenkins signed baseballs are worth less than an unsigned ball.

🤣

Hey, I don’t turn down HOF signed items. Gimmie a break, those guys don’t sign here much. I have Fingers already and Winfield, but I’d love Dawson, Raines, Jenkins, Marichal, and Vlad Sr.

I recall in Minnesota there being a flood of FanFest tickets when people got their ticket package and dumped the FF ones
