Alright friends, it was time to start an "official" Jordan Poole thread instead of the older "what do you think of Jordan Poole?"
Last night he scored a career high of 38 points and it almost marked his 15th game with 20 or more points. Poole is "22-year-old is averaging 26.3 points on 49.8% shooting from the floor with 5.1 assists and four boards in 34.4 minutes per game." Great kid, with skill and work ethic and learning under the best in the game.

Can the Dubs afford to keep him? They'll have so much money tied up to a few players (and even need to offer an extension to Klay should they want to keep him) when Poole becomes eligible for FA, Curry included.

Curry has a good 5 years left. If Klay stays around I don't see how Poole can ever be at his best on the Warriors? Should Poole just hang around indefinitely while not reaching full potential? Hmmmmm.

Devin Booker doesn't have his own thread but Jordan Poole does.

Maybe you should heed your own advice? Its ok to be wrong. Things are never as set in stone as your posts on player talent seem to suggest. "He’s not that good relative to average / above average NBA players. He got a bunch of garbage minutes and scored some points. Future end of the rotation player." Poole has his deficiencies like most players but for his role the Dubs have clearly hit on an above average talent with a late 1st round pick at 22 years. He has the ability to catch fire and win games. I can't think of many teams that wouldn't want him as a 6man right now whilst growing into more responsibility as he matures. And I dislike the Warriors |

As a Michigan fan, I'm mad at myself for not picking up a few nice rookies of his before he really broke out, especially a One and One Gold.

Sweet compliment to the Warriors. His card prices will always be in the shadow of Curry. That's a long 5 years at least of mediocre value unless he slides to another team.

^ Laughed when I looked at your account name. Have to take every curry post you make with a grain of salt.
Sold a silver poole for $70 yesterday morning - oopsies. I do think he will somewhat regress as curry gets back going, as curry only played 23 mins in game 2 and 22 mins in game 1. Also I don't think the nuggets are just out yet.

Poole benefits greatly by Curry playing. While he proved he could certainly still score without him on the court, Curry and Klay playing provides that many more looks for Poole that he'll covert the majority of. They make a deep run and his cards will continue to go up even if he averages closer to 20-25 a game and not 30. Not enough people are talking about his ability to pass, led the team in assists, over Green.
