A long time ago (on another website) I wrote that as much as I enjoy my cards, autographs, etc., I really love coins more.

I don't collect currency, but I do own a few $2.00 uncut sheets that I originally purchased from the US Mint.

I do enjoy the US Mint offerings. I only buy from the US Mint with all of the fake coins, etc., out there, since I am not very knowledgeable about coins as I am about autographs.

Coins fascinate me.

I do a lot with coins and currency. I have a lot of old bills and I search straps of bills as well. The last 2 are very nice finds congrats.

I into coins too but not as much as bills/notes.
I try to do roll hunting every so often too.

Care to share what you find in your finds/straps?

I think if we post more pictures here, there will be more interest in currency collecting...

Vintage currency for sure is steeped in beautiful art. Can never go wrong in collecting them. Works of art.

Fun thread… ended up picking up a cool “birthday bill” for my nephew on eBay. Wasn’t able to find any other family members birthdays but something fun to check in the future.

And now I keep checking the bills I receive. I just pulled an 88804888 $20 bill from an atm. So close to being a cool palindrome. I’m not sure if it’s worth anything but I think I will set it aside to start my collection.

Nice find on the six of a kind 8's. You might be able to find a buyer for above face for around $25-$35. But most of the time its a spender.

On the bday notes, ive been trying to find mine for the longest but no luck. Its a fun hobby. Enjoy and good luck with your search.

I've been collecting, and keeping them sealed, the Women's Quarters in the P,D and S sets.

Over the span of two days I found two Dr. Sally Ride quarters in my change and one Wilma Mankiller on the ground of the parking lot when I have a P/T job.
