Ha ha, I was about to post a similar comment. Just 3-4 years ago these 25 cases would've been less than 100k. Now with box prices so absurdly high it's suddenly a "Million Dollar" break.

My guess....at least 27 or 28 out of the 30. It'll be interesting to see if anyone gets 40k worth of cards.

The Charlotte spot would have to hit 3 or 4 LaMelo's just to maybe break even, if they're lucky.

Most likely all. A LaMelo gold horizontal RPA just sold for $15k. One of the best cards in the product.

I mean when you price a 2/box "case" of FOTL at $55,000 it's pretty easy to make it a "Million Dollar" break. It's so stupid. The total paid for all of the spots is 1.2 million. Total cost of the boxes direct from Panini is what....maybe $300,000 (probably much less). That's a nice little $900,000 profit. Sickening

And to think breaking was created primarily so people could afford the few high-end products of the time.

Now it's pricing people out.

The "solution" is perpetuating the problem.

Average of $20k per box of basketball cards. I thought $2k per box was ridiculous not long ago. No peasants allowed!

I can see this guy appearing at the end of the break sitting next to stacks of autos such as Artis Gilmore, Talen Horton Tucker, Avery Johnson and Richard Jefferson

Are the breakers insufferable? I'd like to watch some of this silliness but I can't stomach most of these new breakers... Not all of them are trash but the lionshare of them really make me question humanity.

It's been fun to see the hobby get more popular but it's been annoying. Like someone else said this isn't a million dollar break. It's a 200 thousand dollar break which is nothing to sneeze at... But a 200 break that has been price gauged to whatever number.

I miss the days of $50 high end breaks. A bunch of familiar names in the same rooms for years.

When 18-19 Flawless Basketball FOTL came out at the end of 2019 you could have bought FOTL boxes on the secondary market for $3,000. So 25 boxes of FOTL would of only been $75,000. Hobby less than that.

The girls wearing bikini tops in the background is a great touch.

Should help ease the pain for the 20+ people losing 30k+

Considering how corrupt Panini and their price manipulators have been, I wouldn't be shocked if these boxes are loaded. Although it would show you how little they care about optics if the total break is less than 15% of cost. I guess we will see.
