Absolutely love the transparency by Topps on how many autos are available of each player.

It's always assumed the better players have less autos, but this product spells it out clearly.

2000+ numbered autos total, plus all the 'unnumbered' ones. The Jeter Captain's Corner set seems comparable and that had autos 1:12 and a PR in the 16k range. This is probably printed to the moon.

Probably right, but I expect it to sell out within 48 hours. The market is wanting Wander. You can open a hobby box of S1 for $120ish or you can open 6 of these. The odds still favor this for those chasers. The normal Yankees demand on top of that with clean looking autographs will drive it. Might want to snag some if you are interested. It will never last as long as the clock leads you to believe it will.

I doubt it. Just in case you are not aware, they still have a cap. Once those sell, they close it down. Mantle lasted a day or two. Cannot recall right off.

Is that always the case? Thought there was usually some language about while supplies last or odds to indicate a fixed amount.

I thought it was always the case. I don't pay attention to the lesser sets much, but I think all of the ones with any potential sold out ahead of time. Who knows, I could be wrong. Past also isn't always indicative of future. So even if they have ended it in the past, I'm sure they could extend this one out. Just don't be surprised if it goes poof.

We will find out soon enough. Really a great looking product with a great checklist, should sell out quick if possible. If this is a fixed amount with decent odds, bulk buyers will do really well here.

I seem to remember it being pretty high and yet they sold out in a couple days.

Not until its too late. You can buy early and the odds be 1 per 1,000 boxes. Or you could wait and it sells out to find out that the odds are 1 per 4 boxes. You just don't know. Hard to go wrong with Yankees stuff though. Throw in Wander rookies and the floor price is safe.

Yeah, I'm just wondering how many should I buy. Is it worth buying 3-4 to get an auto? Or is an auto 1:20 and it doesn't really matter how many I buy unless I'm getting 20+

I count about 2000 total numbered autos from the checklist, plus the unnumbered ones.

If you're buying in an attempt to get a Judge auto, there's only 189 total, so your odds are not very good.

Yeah, unfortunately just no way to know. (A) We don't know the total print run yet, and (B) even if we did, we don't know the total number of autos (since a bunch of players will have a non-numbered auto available per the checklist), so we wouldn't be able to calculate the pack odds anyway.
