Thick card, PSA 9 Auto 10 or BGS 9.5, auto 10?

Trying to make some decisions for my PC for an RPA, which do you prefer and why?

PSA 9 mint or
BGS 9.5 gem mint?

What has happened in collecting that this is even a question? Especially with both being a 10 Auto. Obviously it's BGS 9.5/10

I mean... PSA 9 is "mint" and BGS 9.5 is "gem mint"... seems to me that there's not much basis to choose the PSA unless you just don't care about future value and have an all-PSA collection, or something. (This is assuming that the cards are, for some reason, the same price... obviously if the PSA is priced correctly (i.e. lower), maybe you're looking to make a more economical purchase and that changes the calculus, etc.)
