How much are we thinking? And is there retail versions of this stuff anymore or strictly hobby of higher end marvel cards? Would love to relive some of that nostalgia but not really willing to fork out $$$

I remember flair and metal were so pricey for me as a kid but loved them

just from the description, I'm imagining the old Marvel Vibranium set, but with MCU instead of Comics art

Autograph wise, it's black diamond without Holland.

What's wild is that I've seen these on artist social media pages since Sept/Oct of last year. I guess these companies get a big start before announcing ...

Yeah, I remember seeing APs for this months and months ago. Familiar with the Allure hockey brand, and not a huge fan of it. I figured it'd be another Marvel comics set, didnt realize they were gonna make it a MCU set. Could be interesting, especially with the auto chase.

So an Infinity Stone is considered a Box hit with #/299, am I reading that correctly?

Based on the description, Infinity Stone and Steel Parallel cards are considered hits. Plus printing plates. Anyone getting a printing plate as a hit is going to be disappointed, I think.

Who is this set aimed at? I had the same question about Marvel Black Diamond. Not set collectors, that's for sure. Breakers and individual autograph collectors? I don't understand the appeal of a dozen colored parallel cards.

Yeah not sure this would be a fun Box break... you can get an auto, sketch, or some base insert #/299

I kinda feel the same, but…. The aftermarket for BD has help up Surprisingly well. Just looking at eBay sales last few weeks…. I remember when the haters for BD said they infinity stones were going to be worthless haha.
Infinity stones $500+
Colored exquisite $100+

I think this is going to be fun set. I don't think price point should be anywhere near MBD. Maybe 150-200 a box? Price difference in Hockey Allure and Hockey Black Diamond is pretty large. I would expect similar price difference from Marvel Allure and Marvel Black Diamond

I'm excited for movie posters inserts. I think the Infinity stones will be closer to Infinity War diecuts than the MBD /23 diamond relics.

It will be exciting to see if we get any new signatures. Don Cheadle signed for Space Jam. Maybe we will get new War Machine autos?

I doubt this includes Spider-man Homecoming or Spider-man Far From Home movies, which I assume is license issue.

I'm looking at the Allure Hockey cards and they look like prizm cards -- chrome tech with Panini Prizm refractor parallel designs. I do like the etching and the chrome material seems shiny and reflective.

Infinity War had Inifinity Stone inserts -- they were die cut and nice looking; I have a few of them. These ones look like cheap knockoffs.

I may buy a few boxes -- the chrome technology looks nice.

I know it would never happen but would live to see a ScarJo auto one day in a Marvel set.

How many Infinity War sets do we need? I'd rather see them do an Allure version of a comic art set, like Marvel Metal.

I was hoping for something good, not another movie card set... blah.

They should have done another Vibranium set

IDK, trading card comic art is almost always recycled art. That brings out the fanbois and leaves out the MCU crowd. You do have a point though, that Infinity War has been done enough in cards in my opinion

Me personally, I love the old comic art. But UD has to sell product and I'm less than a minnow in the trading card ocean

Since multi-verses are all the rage now, it would be great if UD did some sort of cross movie card set. Fox is owned by Disney, so why not throw in some X-characters, Fantastic Four, maybe even Ghost Rider?

UD is not dumb, they will make cards of those characters the minute they are allowed from a rights standpoint.

Not a fan of all the parallels in Allure hockey, and it looks to be the same here. Luckily my main two Marvel PCs are not part of the MCU, but I do have a small collection of Cobie Smulders. Looks like I will be picking up some Allure after all.

Some of the sketches look nice, others not so much, and I'm not loving the cards. I'll pick up a sketch or two if I can find a nice one when they hit eBay to PC, but I won't be buying any packs/boxes.
