How much value (if any) does a PSA 9 add vs a raw on NT rpas? I’ve heard from some it’s around 1.5x but does anyone know if that’s around correct. Thanks for any input

9s don't often add much value to a raw card unless it is a huge player...mahomes, rodgers, Brady etc

Never really heard of a multiplier for them. I would think eye appeal would mean more. Some 9's could have a rough back edge while others might have the front showing some white on a dark corner.

I do believe PSA 9 on NT cards would bring up great value, it is hard to get a 10 and PSA 9 should be considered as "premium" over the raw NT copies. I am assuming 1.5x to 2x for PSA 9, and PSA 8 may sell the same as raw copies.

This is my best guess. If I see a raw NT, my assumption is that it is likely not a PSA 9 or 10.

I consider a PSA 9 NT or thick patch card graded a PSA 9 equal in value to a BGS 9.5. In the case of NT, a PSA 9 of a huge player like mahomes likely could be more than a BGS 9.5 on the right card.

i think it brings up value more and more every day with how crazy tough the grading companies have gotten. i look at psa 9 and bgs 9 a lot differently than i did a year ago. a year or more ago, it was like whatever. now it's like... maybe i need to snag that lol.
