Default Kenyon Martin Jr., good investment?

Was thinking of someone to invest in, haven’t caught much basketball, too busy with work, was just wondering if he’s worth it.....

If you’re “too busy with work” to research a prospective investment’s worthiness, you probably shouldn’t be investing at all.

I like him but I don't think he even has NT cards.

What scares me about investing in him is J.Tate, KPJ, J.Christopher and J.Green at guard spots. Then DJ Augustin, D.House, EGo, John Wall, Avery Bradley and many more. If I can pay KPJ Prizm price for a little more than K.Martin Jr, I take KPJ. If I find some steals on Martin, I'd take it. He is not cheap on his #/d cards.

I could honestly see him putting up similar numbers to his always-injured father, but that's only if given meaningful playing time. Houston's starting to turn into the Pistons of the WC...just frontloading backcourt talent and sf's. He's going to have to take that next step to separate himself on the depth chart.

Plus, he'll never have pop's pedigree or clout. Nobody wore Trina's lips on their neck quite like Kmart.

Think GR3.

You have been warned.

After Jokic, who's the best 2nd rounder ever? Ginobili? Rodman? Not a lot of huge names after that

Unless you are an amazing scout - in which case you should probably work for a NBA team - stick to 1st round guys

I mean he wasn't wrong, he actually gave you really solid advice. Not doing your own research on a potential investment of any kind and taking advice from people on a message board, that you don't know, is probably the #1, #2, #3 worst ways to go about investing. Just saying.

I agree. Questions that come to mind are:

How much are you investing? What cards are you looking to buy? How long are you holding? How much do his cards costs versus comparable players? Will he become a superstar? Does that matter? Will he be the best player on the Rockets? Do any other player's cards on the Rockets fetch $$$? Will he get more playing time? Will the Rockets make the playoffs? And on and on and on.

You are relying on us to tell you and truth be told, anyone that is truly investing in him is going to keep their mouths shut.

Since you're too busy to look anything up, I have some Wiggins.
