If that's a base card, then that's pretty nice! I wonder if the color-matching base will be hobby only and if retail will get their own "exclusive" format.

Either way, $250 SRP means another $1000 hobby box lol

Panini printer press going to be in overdrive the next couple months to pump out Select/Optic/Mosaic! I'm also guessing that Hoops Premium Stock will be a subset in Chronicles this season.

If all these release dates hold true, in a 7 week time frame there are going to be 13-15 FOTL releases. Which is not an exaggeration.

This a massive step up from last years garbage design. Simpler and more effective.

It’s just an evolution from last years design.

I’d argue it’s busier, but I like it more. I also liked last years design. One thing I didn’t like was the Mosaic repeating pattern parallels. Reminds me of those old stickers you could pull out the quarter machines.

The Edwards shown is the black 1/1 lol. The other two shown in the article are Gold Wiseman /10 and White LaMelo /25.

IMO it’s good they didn’t change up the design too much.. they should always keep mosaic simple and clean .. less the better . Looking forward to this release

Ahh makes sense...I didn't take much time to read and assumed the images were of base cards lol

That Ant-man looks great, but I’m curious to see what the actual base cards look like. I thought the minimalist design on the 19-20 set was really nice, and the true silvers especially looked fantastic. My Red Card is ready.

Who said it wasn’t releasing? Only thing I ever saw was people said nothing was confirmed, because it wasn’t until now.

Most thought, Panini being a Panini, isn’t gonna pass up an opportunity to release Mosaic (or any set for that matter)

I’d have to go back and try and find the thread, but I remember about a month or so ago I listed all the stuff that came out in 2019-20 that was still yet to be released for 2020-21, and it was a lot. I remember thinking there was no way Panini could release everything, and they’d have to make some cuts somewhere. Still not sure what is left that they’ll cut this year…my first guess would probably be Illusions, since on the retail side they still have to do Select (first time ever for basketball), Mosaic, Optic, Chronicles, and most likely Hoops Premium Stock. That’s a lot to squeeze in yet.

19/20 had some overage and hobby exclusive products (like Illusions) that are likely cut out. As far as schedule I've heard, they're cleaning up the Mosaic/Spectra/Optic/Obsidian lot by end of September. October get Chronicles/Immaculate/One and One/Encased. Then mid November Flawless to finish off 20/21.

EDIT: Forgot Contenders Optic mixes in there somewhere too. So that's another 6 products not solicited yet. Would have to average a release every 1.5 weeks to wrap up by Thanksgiving, which isn't bad at all IMO
