NSCC advice for a first timer

Any help from veteran show goers is appreciated! I have my 13 and 15 year old sons with me and we have a couple of primary goals...

1) Fun! We love opening cards and chasing hits more than anything else really. I keep hearing about box wars etc at Panini and that sounds like something the boys would really enjoy. What things do we need to MAKE SURE we do?

2) Wax. Given the enjoyment we get from ripping... we will be searching for sealed wax. Who typically has the best deals?

3) Opportunities. Part of the benefit of doing this hobby with my kids is that we have had many opportunities to learn "business lessons" and they have grown to love looking for ways to buy/sell/trade profitably (mostly to help finance more ripping lol). What are some tried and true ways to make a buck from our time at the show? Not trying to get rich or make a living, just looking to find ways for them to bolster their show budgets.

I have only been to one National, but the one I went to I really felt that Steel City Collectibles had the best prices on wax. They seemed to be $5 cheaper on every single product compared to the other big boys like DA and Blowout.
