Default POP 1 conversation

Is a card really a pop 1,if others grading companies have the card the same grade?

For example: 2017 Topps Bo Bo the clown PSA 10,no other 10s. And BGS has a one 9.5 no other and SGC has a 10 no other. Do you consider one or any a pop 1?

Pop 1 only means a damn if we’re talking 1/1s or pre-1980 cards.

Every card is a POP 1. Every card is a 1/1.

POP 1 BGS 9.5
POP 1 SGC 10

Hmm a certain eBay Power Seller (who shall go unnamed) regularly advertises their cards as "Pop 1, none higher" even though half the time, that's a blatant lie.

I have a ton of pop 1, none higher cards for my PC, but I wouldn’t advertise them as such.

I’d love a Zion Prizm listing, “Pop 19K, none higher”

A few years ago I had a Dak Prescott RC come back graded PSA 5 (I missed a crease on the back)... so I listed it on eBay as a "Pop 1, none lower".

Disagree...if Marshall Faulk (for example) had a 1994 rookie and that set was so condition sensitive that there was only one BGS 9.5 out of hundreds or thousands graded, it would be very valuable. The older it is and the more have been graded makes the card a standout. If the card is 2020 and you just had it graded, it means nothing because there are lots of potential Gem Mint candidates that are still ungraded...

To the OP, to me they are each a POP 1
