i cant make it to the convention was woundering if anyone was doing any vip breaks

As far as anyone knows Panini isn’t doing the VIP party this year. There will be group breakers breaking from the convention floor as is now tradition.

yea, i heard from a dealer that sets up every year that the panini party has been cancelled for this year, quite unfortunate.

I’ve had 2 LCS and a breaker confirm that there is not only no Panini VIP Party, but also no silver and gold packs.

Bummer, but it makes total sense. No need for promo packs to move product this year.

I have heard from a large dealer in the corporate pavilion that panini will be offering some form of silver packs for wrapper redemptions but it will be very limited. Nothing solid yet but I trust the source.

That would be something, I guess! I know a lot of breakers are going to be disappointed - they typically make a killing on silver/gold pack breaks.

I heard the same thing about no VIP party and no gold packs, which makes sense since the gold packs were given out at the VIP party. Heard there will be silver packs though, no idea on how limited.

Man to think where the hobby has gone to ! I couldn’t even imagine the cost to attend the party if panini did haven one this year . Haven’t been in a few years and use to go regular up untill 2017 . Panini box wars where my favorite! Use to get in everyone for each day ! There is no way I could even afford all the box wars this year even if they continue this promotion with what the coast of hobby is now ! I remember at the 2012 nationals they had a box war of 11-12 national treasure basketball and the winner recieved a ticket to the vip party ! And to think i only paid 500$ for 11-12 treasures ! Just amazing where we are sitting at now
