Default Finding Rare Cards at The National

Debating whether to attend (have never been to The National before).

I am looking for cards I wouldn't see on Ebay in a 3 month period, for example. In general, how likely is it that one sees numerous rare cards that don't show up on Ebay. Or, are the vast majority of tables going to be similar to what comes up for auction and/or is currently listed online?

Thank you in advance.

if you have the chance to go to National, by all means go. Even if you don't find the cards you're looking for, you'll still have a blast.

Very likely. I know a guy who targets 1/1's and other low #'d stuff and he does well at every National buying stuff that he wouldn't find elsewhere. I know someone else who just acquired a large wax inventory of stuff that I guarantee none of the big 3 will even have in stock. It is probably THE place to be for things you don't see on eBay.

If this is what you're looking for, I'm not sure where else on earth you'll find that in one place

Let's be honest you're going to see mantles, jordan, zion, luka, 2021 topps, hoops premium, patrick kane signed jerseys, johnson/bird signed 16x20s out the end, but then you're going to see a $1 rookie you've never seen or a base set card you've wanted, meet a great dealer you can use the next 5 years w/absurd prices, and find a few man cave pieces and get some business cards to follow up with.

This sums it up perfectly.

Other than that, you are still going to run into items that you didn't even know existed that you will now want.

To answer your question specifically. I am 100% certain you will see numerous rare cards that have NEVER been for sale on eBay before.
