Let's hope the cards have better quality than the base product, especially the parallels. With 4 parallels per box these will be priced a little higher than soccer sapphire I imagine. Any Hamiltons will be absolute fire.

FYI UEFA Sapphire never released publicly, so definitely a chance this never sees a public sale either. Fingers crossed

Everyone ready for the Extremely Early Print Run Projections

This is based on the recent 2020 Bowman Draft Sapphire that was just released ... 200 card base set with no autos and no inserts.

That products parallel count:
Yellow#@- #/99 (1:2)
Green#@- #/50 (1:3)
Orange#@- #/25 (1:5)
Aqua#@- #/20 (1:6)
Gold#@- #/15 (1:8)
Purple#@- #/10 (1:12)
Red#@- #/5 (1:23)
Padparadscha#@- 1/1 (1:112)

A total of 225 numbered cards per base card.


225 * 200 cards = 45000 available numbered cards

In UEFA Chrome Sapphire, the SPs were variations of certain players and I believe you were getting almost 1 per box. So if they are the same in F1 like it was in regular Chrome F1, assume their are 10 driver variations and you get 1 per box.

If 3 parallels and 1 SP variation per box, you will see about 15000 boxes produced.

15000 X 28 base cards per box = 420000 total base cards.

Divide 420000 by 200 card base set, you will see a print run of 2100 cards each base card.

Each SP variation will be a PR of 1500.

I am sure at least one of the insert sets will be included. UEFA Sapphire included Future Star set, but not Teammate sensations. I am curious to see which gets put into F1: WOW or Track Tags. I am guessing the latter.

So Hamilton is connected to at least 19 of the base cards. With 4 parallels per box, what is the chance or odds of hitting at least one Hamilton parallel? Seems pretty good to me.

9.5% chance per box to hit any Hamilton parallel assuming perfect collation and a 200 card set.

If inserts are included, that drops a lot.

It wouldn't shock me. I know very little about racing trading cards, but I'm an F1 fan and there are plenty of folks in the fan base who are both diehard fans and filthy rich. One of the LCS I go to has clients that are big Alonso fans and they travel everywhere he races just to watch.

Bought a box that a seller countered for $650, paid. 2hrs later, he cancelled and relisted it at $1850 obo.
