Default Going to Midtown Atlanta. Reccomendations...

So End of May I am headed to atlanta. because of Hotel Reviews we wont be staying Downtown, But will be staying Midtown at The Hampton inn and suites on peachtree. Going to be there 4 nights. Heading to the Aquarium, Lego Land, Maybe the zoo or Art musuem, maybe a minor league game. Just wondering...

Would an Uber be my best bet to go from the Hotel to downtown? I have heard driving in downtown can be a pain, and parking crazy expensive.

Any Good restaurants Near the Hotel? Found one called Ponko Chicken that looks pretty good. Any good Sushi or BBQ places that arent chains?

Any other must see things while there? (Wife already said no to the Trap Music Hall Of Fame and Musuem)

Any decent card shops close by?

You won't be too far from one of my favorite museums I ever went to that was a little different.

lol Thats why we are going to midtown instead of Downtown. I am Originally from Baltimore, so I am pretty good at being a victim. I see the braves will be in town and having alumni day, So we may hit the Afternoon braves game Sunday, Monday hit the High Art Musuem and lego land, and Tuesday spend the day at the aquarium.

Yep don't go to the Lenox mall though, always a ton of robberies.

You already book your hotel? You get any discounts or a Hilton Honors member?

I got what I think is a pretty good deal. Booked it already. Staying Saturday Sunday Monday Tuesday and it was $447 For everything. I know the parking will be more though. Not any great discounts or anything, but it has great reviews and is cheaper than staying in a dump in maryland.

Being impressed with The Varsity food is pretty funny. Nothing special about it. Born and raised in the A and just not for me. I get that it’s a trendy tourist thing to do though.

I was never impressed when I went either. I didn't understand the fuss.

The Atlanta airport is by far the dirtiest, smelliest airport I've ever been in, including foreign airports.
