After tearing up Spring Training he hit his second bomb on the young season today along with a steal. Only 22. Minor league advanced metrics are strong.

He hit .243 in Single A in 2018
He hit .214 in Single A+ in 2019
He did not play in 2020.

My money is he'll be in Double A by midseason.

I pulled two of his bowman autos a few years ago and remember being so disappointed. The beauty of bowman!

That’s Ahh-keeel Bah-doooooooo on the PA system though it might take a few more hero shots to really get that going. But eventually that’s how it will sound when he comes up in the late innings of a close game.

A neat thing about his game today was that before the stolen base, he actually reached base by out-running the Catcher’s throw on a dropped 3rd Strike. He manufactured 2 bases out of nothing.

But, yeah, the other teams haven’t had much time to ‘write the book’ on him yet.

Have covered him for a while in the Twins system. He bulked up big before the 2018 season. Power is legit and he’s got solid speed. Missed a lot of time due to TJ and then a lost season, but he’s a guy any organization would’ve generally tried to protect from the Rule 5. Problem for him in MN is that he’s already behind Buxton, Kepler, Kirilloff, Larnach, and Celestino.

Perfect fit for the Tigers. He’s come out strong, and he’ll eventually slump, but there’s a big league regular there.

I saw him play a bit when he was in the GCL. I thought he was better than his teammate, Royce Lewis, at that time.

This right here^ I'm happy for the him as well. I saw a quick interview they did with his parents from the bleachers. I could tell right away that he is a good guy. No matter how it all turns out, I wish him well. Also going to be picking up some of his cards for the PC.

Sucks to sell early but odds are still solid profit there. I sold a base early as well but you could never expect this, no one expected this
