Default Why Is Triple Threads So Popular?

Triple threads is full of sticker autos and the concept of three separate relic pieces is actually worse than one jumbo piece if you think about it (Topps is essentially just dumping relics that they can't use for jumbo cards in TT).

I can’t stand how they make /1, /3, /5, /9, /10, /15 of the same cards. I know a lot of brands do this, but it seems like a lot.

I didn’t know it was still popular. TTT was great until 2011.

Triple threads is popular? It doesn't appeal to me but I don't collect anything other than flagship and chrome, I always figured TT was a gimmick product like Gold label and Inception(and so many others tbh).

I like it but I guess that's mostly nostalgia. It was the premier high end patch product until Topps started introducing a million similar products. I used to love to scroll through the sell sheet and dream about pulling those jumbo patches.

I love buying singles for the PC. Stuff would be SO much cooler with on-card autos though.

Because when you dumpster dive you get cards like this for $8 shipped.

I never have and never will buy and bust a box though....

TTT is ok, seems like the flippers always put up cards for cheap, as some bargains can be had.

Dumpster dove about 2 years ago and grabbed this for about 25 bucks off the 'Bay

its a singles only product for me. after a few rips leaving me feeling like i just got fleeced for $300, im off the product for life. tribute is more expensive but has been a better experience for me, plus the gimmicky rookie relic auto cards with the star cutouts just makes me cringe.

Gold Label is a gimmick? It originally came out in the 90s.

Also there are some on card autos in Triple Threads.

Also it’s not baseball but possibly the best Triple Threads card of all-time.
