What's up fam? What's up nation? What's up hustler nation? What's up shelf clearers? What's up eBay scalpers? Typing this from my wi-fi 15,000 dollar phone wearing a snap back cap that's 5 sizes too big for my head, nut-hugger skinny jeans cutting off circulation from my bing bong ding dong and flamboyant sneakers in every color of the spectrum while sitting in a rented exotic car sitting in a rented mansion, while pillaging your hobby for every last dime.

1. ballinson if you don't know who that is, just LOL @ you.

2. My buddy ballinson messages me out of the blue a while back after I quit this once great hobby and we start shooting the breeze. We talk about a lot of stuff, life, career, his love of the coast guard and Tom Selleck and his magnificent chest hair. I'm a big Magnum P.I. fan myself. If you're not a fan, you're just insecure.

3. Here's where things get serious. He brings up a particular card that he wants to send my way.

I offer to pay him generously with an amount that is WAY below market value. He declines.
I offer to send him cards, which do not total the current market value of the card he wants to send me. He declines.
I offer him cards / cash that do not total the current market value of the card. He declines.
I offer to send him various signed 8x10 Tom Selleck photos which I told him I had (but which I was actually just going to buy off eBay and they're probably not authentic signatures, but he didn't know at the time.) He declined.

4. He says that if I send him anything in return he would light the card on fire and use it to light his cigarette. STOP. Because, I'm a concerned, caring, kind individual, I immediately thought about the toxic fumes that would be produced from lighting the card on fire, therefore, I accepted the terms and agreed to add the card to my collection.

note* ALSO, over the years, I made gentle and considerate requests demanding that he sell the card to me. He told me several times in a variety of creative ways that he was not going to sell the card. This went on for probably five years and even extended to HobbyKings (RIP) when we were probably the two most active posters on there. I know there are tears flowing down the cheeks of all who read this, but the thing you need to keep in mind as your eyes soften and your hearts warm, is this: If you harass someone long enough, your dreams may actually come true!

I will give you some clues and you see if you can guess the card before scrolling down.

1. A lot of people might have been thinking of PMG red / green, but remember, I mentioned gold.

2. I'm not an uncivilized degenerate, so I would have required payment to me in order to accept a PMG red/green.

3. PMG red/green are overpriced, overrated, NON-iconic garbage and the card I am referencing is QUITE iconic, MUCH better looking, MAGNITUDES better, MORE beautiful, MORE meaningful, MORE timeless.
