Default My Junk Wax Hoard. Am I rich?

Ive been reading how this segment has started taking off early. I saw a thread about the GI boxes, looks like those are going for $100 now. And the Topps WWF boxes going for big money.

All of these I paid next to nothing for, and just bought out of nostalgia over the years to display in my "toy store".

Anyone see anything else of value in here? What should I be on the lookout for? Not sure what is what these days!

Here is the rest of my setup. Hoping late 80's early 90's "junk" figures will be worth something next LOL

I know, for sure, some of the Starting Lineups are getting crazy as people want the cards to grade. Jordan's, and probably many other HOFers, are getting good money. Later years, stuff like Shaq or Kobe have cards that were mass produced, but the versions included with the Lineups have a "Starting Lineup" logo on them, making them legit parallel versions and much rarer than their regular release counterparts.

As for the non-sports cards/boxes. It's all getting crazy. If you bought them years back, they're all probably 10x-whoknows at this point.

Can someone walk in your Nostalgia store...grab a Toys R Us basket and load up?

Great stuff.

Ah, great to know! I have cases of SLU that I have picked up from flea markets at like a buck each. Too many to display on hooks. I'll start checking those!

I just did a quick search and don't see what you're talking about. The only ones selling for good money have been selling that well for years. There seems to be an endless supply sold for less than $10, many less than $5.

Thanks Gang! The crazy thing is, a lot of these were my unopened toys growing up. I kept most of my stuff in the package, and always had a little "toy shop" set up with peg boards, right up to like 6th grade. Then I discovered girls.

My folks sat on this for years for me, until i bought my first house. Then, with the help of Toys R Us going out of business, I was able to get some cool retail displays to set it all up.

The hardest thing to find, was that Windy the Clown head from the old Circus World Toy store. You could walk in, get a balloon blown up from the clowns mouth, and carry it around while you shopped. For Free! It was always a highlight of mall trips with my mom.

I don't know if you're rich but I'd say you're doing pretty well for yourself if you've been able to put together such an incredible collection/display.

Many of our childhoods right here.

You had me at the garbage pale cello's but the He Man really knocked it out the park. Love how disciplined you are, I'm a ripper, I will rip a pack of poker cards if they're near me.

Awesome collection!
Your family must be very understanding.
If I tried to do anything like that I believe my wife would divorce me after cutting my nuts off. She worries about stuff like mortgages and the kids college fund. I just can't seem to encourage her to spend money on the stuff I like!

LOL. Go into the link I just posted above, with my football collection. My wife is a nut job too. She has no room to judge! All my stuff lives underground on the lower level. She doesn't have to see it, unless she goes down there. And even then, she needs the alarm code and keys to enter.

Here is part of her Disney Room. She has another room in the house, just for the character Stitch.
