It's time for a giveaway. I've been blessed with so many great people from the hobby these past few weeks, especially houdini, as well as many other great members. So I wanted to pay it forward again. There are a few rules and this contest will run as long as I foresee it so I can give stuff away. The rules are simple:
1. Please list your favorite team/players (I might send you something if I have something) 2. Tell me your favorite part about blowout or something you enjoy about collecting 3. Tell someone on this forum on another thread something positive (not required but nice to do) 4. Pay it forward to someone else (friends, kids, family, total strangers, someone on this thread. Also this is not required but I would like it) Also, I hate to say this but like all contests I have to put this disclaimer on it: I ALSO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DENY ENTRY TO THIS FOR ANY REASON I SEE FIT (like no scammers or -5 itraders) Grand prize issued to US Members only (sorry international people but if you are in Canada I might have something I can still send you)Your post gets you in for the random for the grand prize ![]() Grand Prize Wil Myers Signed 2012 ASG Program Autographed Baseball (will have a list) Rochester Mays P2020 (May Add More )

I'll go!
My favorite team is the Padres! Big ol Queso is a good part why. His swing reminds me of Disney cartoons when rainbows come out of their hands. Also Tatis, Strahm, Machado, Grisham, heck I like the whole team! My favorite part about BO is the community. I edit videos ofor Houdini on a computer bought with sports cards from Jaffe. That opened a lot of oppurtunities for me I wouldn't have had, and it is very surreal to me. I love it. I'll pay it forward. I always try. |

1. As the sig says, big Cubs fan. Favorite player is Kyle Hendricks, but he's a little hard to collect. Have a nice foilboard of his. Also go for Rizzo, javy, wilson, nico, and recently ed howard.
2. Blowout was a huge help in getting my 2020 Stadium Club base auto set together. I'm still missing about 20 of the harder to find cards. But blowout was huge in getting the more common autos. one of my favorite sets so far. 3. Working on paying it forward. Filling up a USPS priority mailbox full of cards with the goal of donating them to some kids who would really appreciate it.

1. Lifelong Seattle Mariners fan, grateful to be currently stationed back in the area. Favorite Ms players in my sig, but love them all.
2. My favorite thing about BO, hands down, is Houdini. I followed him here after I started breaking with him in the early days. My favorite thing about the hobby is collecting with my 3 boys, like I did with my dad. 3. Will do, and always! Thanks for the cool thread!

Thanks for the generosity Royals!
1. New York Mets - 2021 will be a new chapter for the team and I can't wait to see what unfolds (fav players are Mike Piazza, David Wright, Jacob DeGrom, Tom Seaver) 2. I enjoy the community BO provides - it's been fun to see everyone's collections grow and I'm inspired to continue to add to my collection. 3/4. I donated several big boxes of cards for the holidays last year and plan on making it an annual endeavor. |

1) anything Cardinals
2) my favorite thing about blowout is seeing what everyone picks up each month and the discussions about who should be or shouldn't be in the HOF. 3) pay it forward: I eat my lunch at a local park and saw a kid wearing my alma mater high school hoodie on hitting balls off a tee in the cage. I asked if he wanted someone to throw some batting practice to him and he was very excited to have someone to throw to him. We did it twice this week and I'm sure we will keep it up for a while.

1. Yankees, Tony Gwynn, Mark McGwire, Nolan Ryan, Dodgers (my wife and daughter).
2. Love getting the updates of new releases, box breaks, collections of rainbows, general baseball information, and hobby related news. 3. I'm trying to make a habit of sending cards to people, free of charge, (albeit in PWE) to help them complete sets or just because. Thank you for your generosity! --Jeff Last edited by rasputinx; 02-05-2021 at 06:52 PM. Reason: Couldn't spell Dodgers correctly the first time. |

It’s a cool thing you’re doing. I’m international so I can’t get in on this but it’s great to see people helping and encouraging others in the hobby.
It’s because of you and many others that this hobby is much more friendly and inviting than the one I got out of many years ago. |

2. I love getting to know all of the people from around the globe. It's a fun place to be 3 and 4. I love to help out the kids getting into the hobby. They make it even more fun. |

1. My favorite team is the Yankees and I PC Gleyber Torres. Love seeing young talent play and well, he was the only Yankee I could afford when he first came over. Getting pricey for me now but I still pick up commons\inserts!
2. Its been mentioned a dozen times but the community here is great and the knowledge shared is impressive. I also appreciate the heads up on releases being available. I was able to get some blasters yesterday thanks to a member posting it was online that I most likely wouldn’t have 3. I thanked the member for posting retail was available! 4. As I stated, I am a Yankee fan. My younger cousin is a Red Sox fan (I can’t blame him I live in New England and his dad is a Sox fan). Lately been trying to slim down some of the GU\Autos I don’t want and trade for Red Sox cards for him. Need the younger generations to stay interest in the hobby and with todays prices of product it doesn’t help Thanks and nothing tops Chick fil A! The Cookies and Cream shake, AH-MAY-ZING. |

This is really cool Royals. I've been blessed with some amazing pay it forwards so if i happen to be drawn, I'd like to pay that forward.
Cubs, Diamondbacks are my favorite teams. Growing up in AZ Spring Training was always a lot of fun. I also PC Ozzie Albies. My favorite part of collecting is the community. I've met so many great people and I'm still getting comfortable with the forum and chats. It's been fun. I took a break from forums for awhile because it was becoming something I didn't care for. Definitely renewed interest because of everyone here. Like Cyris mentioned above it's just been cool getting to know everyone here and while there are moments, the hobby is still something I look forward to seeing grow. |

1. My favorite team is the Athletics! But my absolute favorite hitter is Paul Goldschmidt - I think he is so underrated and a great player on and off the field.
2. My favorite part about blowout is seeing what other people pull and reading about the hobby. 3. When it comes to paying it forward, I was in my LCS over the weekend and was planning on selling a bunch of my yugioh cards but there was a kid in the shop talking about how he had just gotten into yugioh and I gave him all my cards instead. Based off his smile I made his week!

Very nice Royals
![]() Player collector of M. McGwire, A. Benintendi, N. Ryan, L. Brock, & F. Jenkins. The humor/sarcasm on BO is entertaining. It's an escape and keeps me sane. I learn so much from others. My middle school son just got into collecting and I took him to his first card show recently. All of a sudden I didn't care about what cards I bought. The most valuable pickup that day was time with my son and sharing in his excitement. Most of the dealers engaged in talking to him, gave him good deals, and free toploaders. There's a children's hospital nearby that takes cards I don't want. I figure it at least gives them something fun to look at/read. Sent from my moto g(6) (XT1925DL) using Tapatalk |

Carl Yastrzemski is my favorite player of all time. Currently, my favorite WAS Mookie Betts, but my team broke my heart when they didn't sign him. I still don't understand. Searching for my next favorite player. Probably Xander or Devers.
My favorite thing about BO is the mix that exists between modern and vintage collections and mindsets. My year and a half back in the hobby has been fueled by this website. I read and post daily. It helps me keep up with the game now and is a wonderful nostalgia trip as well. I always try to be positive and encouraging with my posts here and on other forums. I gave away several thousand cards to a kid down the street about 2 months ago. Getting back into this hobby has been a huge help in navigating this last 19 months. It's been a tough time for most people. This is a great distraction. |
