A Tony Hawk Thread

Hi guys,
Obviously the GOAT's in all sports are going crazy, I couldn't find a dedicated thread for Mr Tony Hawk
The 1990 SI For Kids card is obviously going crazy but there's some other cool stuff out there.
Anyone else collecting/speculating "The Birdman"

SI For Kids might be his first card, but Generation Extreme is his first card that's "pack pulled".
We'll see if they amount to anything moving forward, shall we?

The power of blowout. Last night there were two sources with quantity of these boxes one with over 70 and the other over 100. I ordered 10. Both were sold out this morning when I woke up. Now lets see if they ship.

Cool cards - definitely let us know what you pull (even the other athletes).

It's funny, but a lot of Tony Hawk nostalgia revolves around the video game series - the recent remakes of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 were really well done. Playing those levels again to the same soundtracks was definitely a strong shot of nostalgia.

Edit: I would love to have a copy of his SI rookie card for sure.

Not a card, but I bought this a few months back when Tony sold them directly through his site. Once of his video guys had a bunch of their gear stolen, so he signed + sold these as a fundraiser. $25 for an 8x10 (or 8.5x11 - I don't remember) seemed like a steal.

the 1994 generation extreme cards have taken off. these boxes were $8 each last year. the pack pulled tony hawk is moving up.

I got a box of these and the cards are actually pretty sweet, even if there was zero tony hawk in there. The surfing ones are cool af.

I don't have any cards to show of Tony Hawk, but how many of you knew that Tony Hawk made an appearance in Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol? He was one of the skateboarders.

Wow, found a thread that could help me out. Pulled this from an older box recently. A 2010 Allen & Ginter Baseball box.

Any ideas as to value? Does Tony sign very much?

Did some research on these issues from Argentina released in the late 1980s. These stickers come from a 1987-1989 Skate Fluo Fluo Sticker album that was released by Cromy Argentina (the same company that made the Cromy Skateboard game cards that are believed to have been released sometime between 1987-1989) I'm pretty sure there are two different Tony Hawk stickers in this album, I circled them in the first attached photo. Also attached is a shot of the sticker album cover.

These stickers pre-date the SI For Kids Tony Hawk that is considered his RC.

I used to get SI for kids magazine back in the day, and right around these years. Luckily I saved the sheets and found a bunch of them the other day. I was excited to find the Tony Hawk and I also found the Mia Hamm. Turns out my hording at a teenager paid off
