Default What is this? A new HGA grading company?

Anyone know anything about it?

HGA - Hybrid Grading Approach

If they truly use AI for grading and return cards according to their timeframe, I may check them out. I oddly like that they match the label to the jersey color for some reason.

But the URL is a big red flag and made me realize that anyone could "start a grading company" by putting up a website and then just steal all the cards submitted for months before anyone can report anything...

Colour matched flips is a great idea.

Love the idea, but not the price... usually you go low to get people in then raise the price based upon reactions (if good). Coming in high seems to be a money grab from the start... not good for brand new company who wants to get market share....

So we see what the flip looks like, but not the slab? They have nothing about the actual slab on their website? Fascinating.

How could you create a grading company and website, and not even show a picture of an actual card in one of your cases? They have so little faith in their product that they can't even show it to you.

As a matter of fact, I can't find an actual card anywhere graded by their company.

yes, Some new grading companies are trying to prove they grade the strictest and get the customer LESS MONEY. Go figure that out?

At those prices I wonder if they seriously hope to grade cards, or if this is just an ebay seller planning to slab his own cards and wants a website to make the slab company look legit. Because I wouldn’t expect people to line up to pay a no name company $35 a card.

The color coordination does look nice on that one. But unless they are offering free or discounted grading deals to get up and running it is hard to see them catching on at the current rates.

Is it just me or does the label feel like it should be placed a little higher?

fugly looking label - takes the focal point away from the card itself.

Wish them all the best, but rather put money into grading companies with credibility and history ... that can be argued till the cows come in I understand... but that's just me. I'd rather go with CGC if picking a new guy. CSG or whatever their card grading is called. Lots of credibility with their comic /coin grading etc.

I kinda like it, and the price keeps them getting quality cards into grade instead of being flooded by low cost cards. The guaranteed turnaround is great too, cause in the card game you gotta be able to catch the highs of a player.

Price seems way to high. Worth seeing if they make any traction and can keep true to the listed times. Labels do look pretty cool for chrome cards.

Its all relative though.... you pay 35 no matter what. So you dont get upcharged if the card is 1k or 5k or even 10k.

The 60-day service at $20 is not too bad. Especially since PSA's $20 service is eight months at least. I'm going to send a few cards in.

I'm going to submit some. Nothing crazy, but a handful I'll do at the basic $20 level as I really like their flips. Will do a few different team colors just to get a variety. They limit their weekly submissions, and looks like it resets tonight. So if you want any done, be ready to go. I have no idea how quick it fills, but I'm doing it right at 9 EST.

Got my order in. Only 262 cards left for the week if you're interested.

I pre-filled my order form yesterday for the submission tonight. They were sold out less than two hours into the week.
