Default Are we still hodling Anfernee Simons cards?

I know he had that meaningless 50pt game like 8 years ago that hyped him up a bit but has Blowout moved on?

I've still got a purple cracked ice, blue cracked ice and a couple pink FB prizms that I'm not even sure what to do with at this point... lol

It's his 3rd year in the league and he's barely getting playing time plus advanced stats have consistently pegged him as one of the worst players in the NBA. Sell him while some people are thinking "well, he's still only 21"

Time to sell and move on to the next prospect. He has had 3 seasons to show his potential and only had 1 good game. Much better guys to get in the more recent NBA Draft classes

he's on the all Malik Monk team. Really talented but unless major covid or injuries hit he'll never get a chance on his current team. I'd say hold because many guys have a second life after their rookie contract.

What purpose would selling serve? Stick em in a box and forget about em. All it takes is the right opportunity. Look at Jerami Grant. His 2014-15 Prizm Base RC aere going for $30-$40.

Just need to change teams. Everybody needs a good situation, minutes and trust. Not in Portland though. Talent is there!

I think the kid is loaded with talent. Unfortunately being in Portland that talent is not going to be able to be used.

He'll end up as someone's Trey Burke in a few years, just not Portland.

Exactly. This dudes prizm is going for under $1. Stash them away. The odds are he pulls one 20 point game this season and they go up to $5+.

I may have just inadvertently talked myself into buying some Simons. Weird start to the day.

I have a decent stash of his stuff and have only sold one card this month:

2018-19 Prizm Green Pulsar /25

I bought it for $50 several months ago and sold it for $325 a week or so ago. I wanted to hold it, but by selling it, it covers most, if not all, of what I have spent on him (I got in early).

If he pans out, then I’ll still have plenty to sell. If not, then I did the best thing and got money for a big card while I could.

Wanted to hold it but at the way things are going for him, I’ll be able to buy other cards of his at a lower cost soon.

If you don't need cash just hold, anything can happen in current market

Watched him play in person at IMG when I lived in Florida. I guess I’m going down with the ship. Only kept the good Optic stuff so either way it wasn’t a complete loss as I love that release for the collection.

I agree with what others had said. There are a lot of players that are still young and just don't have the opportunities to play as they are blocked at that position. No reason to sell for peanuts, just put away and hope for organizational changes or he is traded or signs with a different team and actually gets playing time.

He will be gone by start of next year to another team. Kid only does one thing and right now doesn't do it very well (shoot)

Sell the next time he has a really good game (if that ever happens).

Threw a small lot up before the dunk contest for the hell of it and someone hit the BIN while I slept. Didn't even make an offer. Is it really that easy?
