Wow nice start to the New Year. There’s a pleasing simplicity to that one. Congrats.

Can't start much better than with Mr. Seaver. Beautiful example.

Default Aaron

I like the centering on your 55 Aaron, nice pick-up. Speaking of Aaron, a little Xmas present for myself.....

Great pickups by people lately! So I just grabbed this Vince D of the Bay and paid retail. They just put it up today and I took one look and thought about it for 60 seconds or so and hit the buy button. Sort of an impulse buy but when I started looking hard at this set a couple of weeks ago this card was an immediate standout with the awesome art-deco pre-Warholian stuff going on in the background. Good vibes about this card even though Vince was a bad major leaguer who struck out more than either of his more famous brothers in a shorter career. Doesn't matter; he's still a DiMaggio and this card is a work of art. So I'm psyched to get this Ex-Mt copy even though I'm only trying to build a Good+ set.

Love the Carew! Frankly, I think those '68s look better with a bit of off-centering to the left. It gives some more space for the position/team bubble to breathe.

Picked up a couple 1976 Topps basketball cards at a local antique mall today. They're in terrible condition, but at only 50 cents a pop, I couldn't pass them up.

What a beautiful design! I took a look at the Dodgers from that set and, while nice, they're far from matching this one for sheer beauty: that background is completely amazing. Nice job.
