Luka prizm silver 9 if you can get it isn't a bad way to go. I mean Luka is a pretty hot ticket you can still get some autos for that price too but really its preference.

Ha, of all the Luka rookies those were the ones I was considering picking up. Feel like the value is pretty decent, relatively speaking. Geechquest turned me onto that set, I think they are very nice looking cards.

best revolution parallel you can get or lowest numbered or parallel Luka from a lower tier like Donruss/Threads etc. On the second option, you can get multiple graded gem mint

Donruss Optic Rated Rookie Auto. I have no idea why these cards are so cheap. All signs point up. On card rookie autos, in a set that has been around for a bit and looks like it's here to stay.

i think rare and popular ones for sure. Others i don´t think so. zebra, tiger stripe, kaboom will rise too imo, i personally would rather have that than like idk 1 Prizm base PSA10 with pop report of 11k or so and those were close to 2k

For investment purposes?

I'd get a Luka Prizm base PSA 10 and with the leftover $ get whatever numbered Luka RC you can.

Extra credit if it's a Blue parallel.

If it's just 1 card for $2K? The best Blue parallel you can find.

Yeah I'd go with the best numbered Blue you can find. There are so many parallels that I think the Tiger/Zebra/etc. will get lost soon but Blues will always be sought after. At least unless he gets traded.

I’ve been looking for some. I’m kind of looking for long term investment and most visually appealing. Something I’ve been looking for is nba hoops blue but don’t really know if there is a love for hoops

I totally agree on the Blue parallels. Chronicles have blues /99 of all varieties. I think there are about 15 of them, but the preferred ones are (assuming graded versions of 9/10

Is the love for blue Lukas only because blue matches his jersey, or is “blue whatever” now a thing?
My question is really, for buy and hold, is there any outsized collector demand for red Tyler Herro given the Heat jersey (generally) is black/red.

Matches his jersey. Like Tatum green Prizm commands a premium. Dont know about Herro but is black on Black Velocity is something else.

Yup I picked up a ton of red /149 Chronicles Cam Reddish for super cheap. Jersey match and it works for his name too lol got a sick Mosaic red fusion /88 psa 10 pop 1

The jersey match thing has gotten pretty big recently and its one one way to put one of the colored parallels a level above the multiple offered. Obviously if they're numbered that's gonna usually play the biggest role but ive even seen instances where the matching blue /99 goes for more than the purple /49..

Aesthetics is definitely a part of all of it, so it makes sense generally speaking

I missed out an Elite /99 blue Luka psa 9 for $700, whoever got that one got a steal
