Have a 1986 Fleer wax pack I'm looking to get encased at PSA. It says the turnaround time is 100+ business days, even if you pay up for the service level. Realize it's not a card, but is that right? Has anyone tried to get a pack(s) graded recently? Seems silly to charge a higher price but not offer a quick turnaround.

I've never graded a pack but I can tell you they have a significant backlog right now so turnaround times are completely out of wack. If it says 100+ business days, that 100+ days don't even start until they log it into the system and that can take a month in and of itself, give or take.
Keep in mind that 100+ BUSINESS days is probably going to be closer to the '+' than '100 days' too |

All packs either wait for Steve Hart of BBCE to fly to California and verify they're unopened, or they all get packaged and mailed to BBCE for confirmation, then mailed back to PSA before they can be graded. So yes, there is a major delay for all packs no matter the value level.

Right now there is roughly a 10 month wait for wax and cello packs getting graded at PSA

For real; read more threads. Here and at the Collector's Universe board. It's a piece of advice I always hand out. The more knowledge you gain about the process, the better decisions you can make.
