Default how many sketch cards do you have in your collection?

hi all,

I have collecting licensed sketch cards for almost 2 years now - December 2018.

As of today, I have 60 sketch cards in my collection ( Marvel, DC and Perna studios ).

I am just wondering how many sketch card do you have in your collection? hundreds? or perhaps thousands?

have a great day everyone.

I don't actively collect sketche cards anymore, but I still have full sets from Inkworks Simpsons, Scooby-Doo, and The Spirit movie, and that alone is about 75 cards with another 10 from Red Sonja 35th Anniversary.

I've had hundreds of Star Wars and DC/Marvel sketches over the years, but I'd usually sell those to buy more cards as I was more interested in Star Wars autograph cards and the regular base/chase in the DC/Marvel sets than I was in the sketches. Even so, I probably have about 40 of those left.

From other miscellaneous sets, I probably have another 50 or so. I'll go with 175 altogether.

I haven't done a formal count, but I'd guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 500. Wow I probably need to sell some of these!

Rough Breakdown:
200 from Rittenhouse Star Trek releases (if you can't tell I like Star Trek)
100 from Upper Deck's Firefly release
100 from Topps Star Wars
100+ from Marvel and some other Misc topics (I'm probably underestimating this number).

I had over 600 at one point, maybe even close to 700, but I've been slowly selling off most of them. Not sure where I'm at now, maybe a few hundred.

You practically need your own gallery! Sounds fun if you ever want to show them off.

I have somewhere near 1,000 Ghostbusters sketches including two complete 152 card artist master sets.

Not a big fan or anything.

Close to 250. All Star Wars. Almost all from one set (Star Wars 40th Anniversary). Every artist in the set. Most obscure characters from the movie (sketches were all from A New Hope)

Thanks, I've definitely considered that. I keep my sketches in One Touches - would eventually like to make some sort of system on the wall in the office where I can easily rotate sketches in and out, maybe using magnets or something.

I've never done the math, but given Trek sketches are only one per cases, I've probably got a few % of the entire production run.. close to 10% for DS9

I have about 750 sketch cards in my collection...primarily LOTR, Hobbit, and Star Wars. I'm still actively collecting but I'm a lot more selective then when I first started back in 2011 (Star Wars Galaxy 6). Part of my collection is displayed at http://www.sketchcollectors.com/gallery.php?user_id=717

Maybe 40-50. Most are PC but I can probably trim another 5-10 off when I finally get around to it.

Probably a couple of thousand (I don't actually count) across the past 12 years of Rittenhouse Marvel, Topps Star Wars, Cryptozoic (Adventure Time and Steven Universe), 5finity, and Perna Studios. UD nowadays, because they have the Marvel license.

There are also the one-offs like the IDW X-files pair of sketches (Mulder and Scully), some very limited items from Axebone's releases, the recent Iconic release (Way of the Sword).

The majority of them I still have, although I haven't updated my Sketchcollectors account with new acquisitions in a few years now.

Somewhere close to 200, the vast majority being Mary Bellamy as I am trying to make a master set of all the products she has ever done art for.

30 or so Danielle Gransaull pieces as well.

Probably at least 60. I know I have at least 10 from the Rittenhouse Marvel 75th set and around 20 from the 2016 Marvel Masterpieces set. I probably have around 10 each from Vampirella and Witchblade sketches from cheap boxes from Blowout sales.

Too many ! If I had to guess around 5000 as I have as many as 50 of each set from some of the UK releases by Unstoppable and Cult Stuff ( Avengers Hammer Horror , Contemporary Erotica etc. ) as well as all the independent sets like Island Dreams , Perna , Bettie Page .

My sketchcollectors.com account shows 365, but it's been about a year since I scanned in my new sketches, so I'm probably at 450 or so.

I've never counted or even gotten them all in the same place ... I should. I'd estimate probably 35 but could be more.

I've always had the philosophy that sketches need to be displayed/shown (but totally respect people who hoard or binder them :P). So it's mostly a space thing for me on whether I have room on a shelf for case/stand or if I have an empty space inside a custom wall wood case my dad made me (each holds ~40 sketches inside a case).

Think I have something in the neighborhood of ~200 displayed sketches.
